The world has been in pandemic mode for over a year. Most of our public events were cancelled last year. For a line of our work that’s traditionally powered by local relationships, human connections were minimal due to state mandate.
We’re so excited that the Town of Floyd, Virginia Farmers Market is open this year. We’ll be one of the vendors starting Saturday, 6/19 from 9 am- 1 pm. We hope people will savor the chance to shop outdoors and to be reminded that nature, after all, isn’t on lockdown. For vendors like us, the farmers market is not only a big part of our livelihood but also “a piece of normalcy” after a trying year. If you’re near Blue Ridge Mountains/Town of Floyd, we hope you will visit us at the market. Town of Floyd is world famous for Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. There will be many great Bluegrass, country, and Americana classics musicians playing every Saturday. Our lavenders are in bloom now. We will bring lots of lavender bundles (fresh cut on the morning before market opens). Plus, recently developed new products along with many of our all-natural lavender products.
